11 young FreeWing athletes from 7 countries (France, Spain, Germany, Italy, England, Netherlands, and Israel), came together in Leucate, France for the first-ever FreeWing Youth Wing Foil Progression Camp hosted by FreeWing and coached by Fiona Wylde. The main goal of this camp was to connect young riders from all around Europe to improve their skills on the water as wing foilers and off the water as watersports ambassadors.

Fiona ran a five-day program from March 30th – April 3rd where riders learned about Wing Foil Racing, Wing Foil Freestyle, Wing Foil Safety, Competition Mindset, Training, Nutrition, and much much more.

“I am so proud of each and every one of these athletes for coming to this camp with an open mind ready to learn and improve, both on and off the water and meet new friends. We had incredibly strong wind conditions, but we absolutely made the most of the weather we had. As you can see here in this video, the kids charged ahead! I had so much fun watching all of the kids improve, and working with them not only on their wing foiling abilities but teaching them what it takes to follow your dream.”
